Hello stupid o’clock…
…nice to see you again. *sigh* I do this. I get up at 5am with the intention of writing. Sometimes it works, other times I stare at the screen for a while then I go play in photoshop or in a game somewhere.
Today, joy for you, I’m blogging. I dunno why, I talk crap at this time in a morning. I guess it’s a stream of conciousness thing really as I have nothing to say other than what pops in my head.
…. which is currently blank.
I’m working on a scifi at the moment and, damn, this thing is full of more dead spots than anything I’ve written before. I *should* be okay at scifi. I write trek fanfic for gods sake but this… I have the plot, I know where it’s going. I LIKE the plot.
Ugh, I don’t know. Perhaps I need more coffee. Yeah, coffee sounds good. It’s too early for vodka, right?
Review: Handcuffs & Lies
Okay, so I’ll give you a little break from my obsession with the Supernatural boys today
and put in a review as well. I just started to review for Howling Good Books as it’s run by a friend of mine and, well, I read a lot so it only seems fair to give something back so to speak.
This week I’m reviewing ‘Handcuffs & Lies’ by Bronwyn Green…

Since her brothers death Tori has gone out of her way to avoid cops. So far she is doing well on that score. Until too many kids die due to drugs and she does the one thing she swore to herself not to do…approach her brothers ex-partner Michael. The one cop above all others she wants nothing to do with.
Michael has never been able to get his dead partner’s sister out of his head. Not before her brothers death and, after a night of passion neither of them can remember, certainly not since. But when she walks right into the middle of the biggest deal of his career Michael must keep the promise he made to look after her. Trouble is, can he save her from himself?
