About Ebooks
eBooks are electronic (digital) versions of a book. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-book
Electronic books, or e-books, are the digital equivalent of traditionally printed books. More precisely, an e-book is the data that constitutes the contents of a book. With eBooks you have the convience of shopping online and (normally) instant downloads.
In order to be read, the ebook requires a digital reading device. Ebooks can be read on computers, cell phones, or hand-held reading devices (Kindle, Sony eReader).
Aside from a lower cost than print books, digital books are searchable and take up little space on a hard drive.
Anti-piracy
E-books are not like print books. They’re licensed only for the original purchaser of the ebook to be read on that person’s PC or reader. This means you can’t upload an ebook to any file sharing site or send it out via email or any other method to anyone else. This is not only illegal but it puts the very writers you enjoy out of business!!
Ebook Piracy – please don’t!
